Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., held socialization of fire handling towards Cikini citizens, Menteng in the local urban village office.

"Socialization is participated by 40 people who are disaster volunteers," expressed Nurulsianto, Commander of Menteng Sector Platoon for Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., Tuesday (10/16).

In that occasion, they were taught how to cope with fires due to leaks in the gas cylinder hose with portable fire extinguisher (APAR) and wet sacks.

"We also teach them how to safe yourself during an earthquake," he stated.

In the meantime, Cikini Urban Village Head, Ati Mediana thanked the fire management training given to its citizens.

"Hopefully it will give knowledge fo r residents and fire in the environment can be prevented early," he stated.
